MrBeast and the Trans Agenda in Gen Z Entertainment

Last week the internet was shocked to learn that popular YouTuber MrBeast’s co-host Chris Tyson now fancies himself transgender. After a Twitter user tweeted a picture of a newly effeminate Tyson and asked what had happened, Tyson replied, “HRT [hormone replacement therapy], and it’s only been 2 months.”

If you’re like me, you might be asking who the heck MrBeast is. Those of us over the age of 30 didn’t grow up with YouTube, after all. But Generation Z did, so the influence popular YouTubers have had, and continue to have, on young minds cannot be understated.

And MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is certainly popular. His channel surpassed 140 million subscribers this month, making it the fifth most subscribed channel on the platform. And that’s just his main channel. Including his other channels, he has over 232 million followers.

It’s fascinating that a normal 24-year-old guy from North Carolina can reach so many people on his own. He has a team, to be fair, but otherwise it’s a one-man show. To put things in perspective, CNN’s YouTube channel only has about 10 percent of his subscribers.

But given his great influence, particularly on the younger generations, the fact that his co-host is now transgender is all the more concerning. This means that hundreds of millions of impressionable kids will now be exposed to the transgender agenda—and not just in a stuffy classroom but on a YouTube channel they enjoy watching.

Tyson has been outspoken since coming out as transgender, adopting the typical activist talking points we’ve come to expect from proponents of radical LGBT ideology. “It’s never too late, to start being yourself,” he tweeted on April 7. In most other contexts, such a platitude may be harmless; in this one, however, it is disturbing given how many children and teenagers surely follow him.

Chris Tyson also reiterated a common trans activist talking point regarding hormone replacement therapy being “life-saving”:

“Informed consent HRT saved my and many others’ lives. The hurdles gnc [gender nonconforming] people have to jump through to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a 1st world country is wild to me. Just let people make informed decisions about their own bodies.”

Of course, no one, regardless of the level of gender dysphoria, will actually die without treatment. Trans activists love to pretend that their condition is similar to others in which a certain medication or procedure is necessary to survive. But the reality is that people identifying as transgender have a tragically high suicide rate that doesn’t drop with cross-sex hormones or puberty blockers.

Further disturbing is the fact that Tyson is a husband and a father. “There goes a father figure the kid won’t ever be able to look up to,” wrote a Twitter user named Evan on April 5. The tweet garnered ten thousand likes—and a number of angry responses as well.

Tyson was among those responses. “This is just more dog whistling that somehow trans and gnc folks aren’t safe around kids,” wrote the YouTuber. “Tucker begs for me to come back when I leave for like 2 days to film. He is so loved and happy. Kids arent born with hate, it’s taught by people like you.” Tyson continued to argue that because he wanted to be his “best and happiest self,” his decision to transition was for his son.

The reality is that Chris Tyson made the dreadfully foolish decision to give in to the most deranged of delusions: that he, a man, could become a woman. One’s sex is biological and God-given; it cannot be chosen or changed. Chris’ decision to become transgender was undoubtedly selfish as well. What does his poor wife think of the fact that she’s now married to a man who believes he is a woman? It is the stuff of nightmares.

Moreover, it is a nightmare that is being broadcast into the minds of the masses. Those who object to Tyson’s morbid transformation are morally browbeaten into accepting it. We’ve seen the number of people identifying as transgender skyrocket as the “identity” becomes mainstream, and it has especially affected impressionable young minds. These days, more and more influencers and celebrities are claiming LGBT identities. But let us not give in to the social pressure to accept this. Chris Tyson is not a woman, and we must pray that the young people—and everyone else—witnessing this spectacle are able to see through the madness.
