Internship FAQs

Looking for an internship? If so, Intellectual Takeout has an opportunity for you.

We have plenty of topics to research as well as ideas to spread, and we need your help to get it done.

If you're interested in an internship with Intellectual Takeout, you likely share our passion and you're excited about the possibility of working for a great cause. That said, you might have a few questions about what "help" means. Here are some FAQs that should answer most of your questions:

1. Do I have to move to your location? No. The miracle of fiber-optic cables, wireless communications and VPN networks allows you to work from anywhere you can get online.

2. Are there set hours when I have to work? No. However, we do expect researchers to complete a new topic every two weeks and marketers to file 20 to 25 marketing reports every week. How you get it done is up to you - during the day, all-nighters, or anything in between.

3. Do I have to be in the United States? No. The ideas of individual liberty, limited government, and free markets are not constrained by national borders. It's time they went global.

3. What sort of work will I be doing? At the direction of staff at Intellectual Takeout, you will be doing research and writing on topics with which you are comfortable. If you take a look at the materials found in our Library, you'll have a good idea of what type of work you'll be doing.

4. Will I get paid? At this time, no.

5. Who do I contact about working for Intellectual Takeout? If you're serious about doing work for Intellectual Takeout, please fill out our online application, and we'll contact you as soon as possible.
